Ronaldo says he will play for Man Utd in a friendly against Rayo Vallecano
Cristiano Ronaldo has announced he will be in action for Sunday's friendly between Manchester United and Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford amid speculation about his future with the English giants.
The 37-year-old Portuguese striker, who left the club for personal reasons during the pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia, was keen to leave the club he joined last year.
Ronaldo has also been dropped from United's squad for Saturday's friendly against Atletico Madrid in Oslo.
But he hints on Instagram that he's another La Liga team Rayo Vallecano.
Commenting on Ronaldo's fan page post about his absence from the game in Norway Ronaldo on Friday: "Domingo o rei joga", which means "Sunday the king plays".
United that the players in the 21-man travel squad against Atletico , a list that includes signings Lisandro Martinez and Christian Eriksen -" will do everything they can to face Rayo Vallecano on Sunday while others are sick or injured."

New United manager Erik ten Hag claimed this month that Ronaldo is "not for sale".
"We're planning Cristiano Ronaldo for the season and that's it and I'm looking forward to working with him," he said.
"I read it but I say Cristiano is not for sale, he is in our plans and we want to be successful together."
The former Real Madrid and Juventus player was United's top scorer with 24 goals last season.
However, the season was largely disappointing for the club as sixth in the Premier League meant they missed out on Champions League qualification.
